WAM Submissions & Applications
Hi there!
Welcome to WAM's platform for all of our competitions, awards, mentorships, and other opportunities. We will be using this throughout the year.
To get started, you'll need to sign up for an account before attempting to submit.
For returning submitters, you will be prompted to sign in to your account.
All personnel involved in WAM programs, including but not limited to staff, board and committee members, judges, applicants, volunteers, performers, and contractors, must abide at all times by the WAM Code of Conduct. This is a guiding document to support safe, fair, and respectful music spaces and commits to building a music industry free from harassment, discrimination, bullying, violence, sexual harassment, and gendered violence.
Expressions of Interest are now open for regionally based artists and industry professionals to participate in WAM’s key events during WA Music Week 2026.
Through this form, regional applicants can apply to:
- Attend the Regional Gathering (13 August) and WAMCon (13–15 August)
- Present or propose a topic for discussion at the Regional Gathering
- Perform at the WAM Showcase (15 August)
- Participate in the WAM Artist Development Program (May–October 2026)
- Receive travel support to attend WA Music Week events
WAM offers a range of opportunities for regional participants, and applicants are encouraged to take the time to complete this form thoroughly on behalf of themselves, their organisation, or their band.
Please note:
- The full scope of travel support is subject to funding availability and may change.
- Filling out this form does not guarantee your participation at the Gathering or a performance at the WAM Showcase. Successful applicants will be selected by an independent panel of music industry representatives.
- WAM is unable to cover travel costs for local or state government representatives. However, individuals from these organisations are still encouraged to apply to attend at their own expense. Ticket fees may apply. For further information, please contact WAM directly.
We strongly encourage applications from artists and industry professionals who are passionate about representing their local communities, developing their skills, and building meaningful connections within the wider WA music industry.
Applications close at midnight on 1 May. Late applications will not be accepted.
For more information, please read the WA Music Week Regional Participation Information Sheet HERE.
