WAM Submissions & Applications
Hi there!
Welcome to WAM's platform for all of our competitions, awards, mentorships, and other opportunities. We will be using this throughout the year.
To get started, you'll need to sign up for an account before attempting to submit.
For returning submitters, you will be prompted to sign in to your account.
All personnel involved in WAM programs, including but not limited to staff, board and committee members, judges, applicants, volunteers, performers, and contractors, must abide at all times by the WAM Code of Conduct. This is a guiding document to support safe, fair, and respectful music spaces and commits to building a music industry free from harassment, discrimination, bullying, violence, sexual harassment, and gendered violence.

Please ensure you have read and understood the terms and conditions of entry.
Number of submissions
Members of WAM can submit up to 5 submissions per artist/band. For non-members, we will only accept up to 3 submissions per artist/band. If you submit more than the accepted number of songs we will contact you to remove a submission from entry, and we will not refund you.
You may view your draft and successfully submitted songs in the Submittable portal. If you require more information, please contact us for help.
If you are submitting for multiple artists/bands, you may submit them all through this login, but the 3-submission limit applies for each artist/band (or 5 submissions where the artist/band are members of WAM).
Submitting multiple songs in a single category
We highly recommend that you only submit one song per category. Where multiple songs have been submitted by an artist, only the top-rated song will be considered for nomination and the award.
The two free-to-enter categories, A Song For Sophie and Outstanding Indigenous, both have a strict limit of one submission per artist/band.

Artist/Band Details
Please note that artists/bands who progress in this competition will be required to complete further details so we can effectively promote the nominees and competition. An additional form will be sent to published nominees to collect this information.
Songwriter Permissions
It is a condition of entry, outlined in the Terms & Conditions, that all songwriters are appropriately acknowledged. Prize winners will only be able to access their prizes once permission has been confirmed from all songwriters. WAM bears no responsibility for how the prize money is split and requires submitters to distribute prize money to all songwriters as appropriate.
